any rules for making kandi singles?

i'm still relatively new to making kandi and i'm wondering if there are any unspoken rules about making singles other than no selling/retrading. one of the main questions i had was, can you put novelty beads on singles? like i have a whole bunch of silly shapes, roses, pieces of candy, skulls, dice, evil eyes, etc. and i'm not sure if it's proper to give away singles that have these sorts of beads on them. someone please help

i think that the MOST IMPORTANTEST rule for making singles is HAVE FUN AND BE KIND

There's no rules with what you can create! I would obviously avoid slurs or anything offensive, but yeah! The whole "no selling" rule is an older thing, kandikids and ravers said that it went against PLUR to sell kandi, because you would be profitting off of it and it wouldn't just be traded out of the kindness of your heart. Lately I havent seen many people "enforcing" that, though.
