What is the recommended dimensions to make a cuff in Peyote Stitch? I mean how many rows and columns? Never made one before and haven't been counting the dimensions on everyone's. But what would you say would be the best?

The reason I was asking is because I was wanting to make a pattern for my wife. I'm not exactly sure what to do for it like how to make the patterns. She hasn't made a cuff before, but has made many beaded bags and such. So since this was new for both of us, I was just curious. Thanks! big grin

i guess it depends on your design. i usually give myself a limit on how big i want it to be and i work with that

There is no best size because it depends on how big the person's wrist is. It will be less than a multi stitch cuff since the beads are sideways. Based on my experience, a multi-stitch cuff that's 32 beads around is about equivalent to a peyote cuff that's 22, but that can vary depending on the exact bead size and how stretchy your string is. The best thing to do is to start making it and try it on as you go along.
