So like this person followed me on Instagram and I went to their page and it was just a bunch of dsmp edits/fan stuff so I DM’ed them and I was like “you do know that their all problematic right” and the person was like “everything they did was from when they were highschoolers tho” like wtf. Just because they were younger doesn’t mean it’s ok 513b395299300_wacko.gif The lengths these people would go to to defend a bunch of white boys

Also if dsmp is ur special interest, hyperfixation, or u have fictives of dsmp members it’s fine just don’t defend what they’ve done lmao

idk i dont argue with people abt it anymore but like. i was talking online to this girl who goes to my school (she's white btw.) and she was talking abt dsmp and i was like... those guys are freaks!! lol. that set her off sm she said a whole lotta weird things but what stood out most was this inane statement abt dream's slave joke. she was like "slave jokes aren't racist because black people kept white people as slaves too actually..." like. yikes!!

idec if you watch the dsmp just stop trying to defend them you make yourself sound so stupid crying just admit "yeah i know theyre racist etc im just too far into it to quit watching and i enjoy the plot" and id be like "yeah cool"

I am c!tommyinnit irl, and mcyt is currently a special interest of mine, but I completely agree. I admire the content creators and content they make, but a lot of them have done really crappy things, which is why I don’t defend them. More of the fans need to realize that you can both hold them accountable for bad things they have done, and enjoy the content they make. (this is all me agreeing with you just to be clear

@13Killz: yeah I agree but a bunch of the members have said some offensive stuff on social media and they’ve never been like “hey sorry I’m not like that anymore” so idk

idk anything abt dream smp but i feel like if they do not show that they feel the same as they did in highschool they are fine i mean two years ago gay ppl scared me and now im gay myself
