How come I can't upload videos?

JuJuBeeyutiful 4/11/2013 02:18 pm 717

When I try to upload a video, it goes to a blank page when I hit the save button. I've tried several times and it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Or is there something I'm not aware of? Thanks! ~JuJuBeeyutiful

Awesome! I see it up now, but I guess it accidentally got uploaded to tutorials, when its not really a tutorial. I thought I had made it a kandi showcase/talk thing but perhaps I missed that. Sorry! Just so you know in case you need it to be in the right category! Thanks again!!

I did but I think I might not have finished all the way, I just did now and it did as you said =) Sorry for all the trouble, still getting used to the site! Thanks for all your help =)

Correct, but you need to re upload it since it didn't save last time. Did you do that? You should be redirected to the main video index page after uploading.

I'm guessing it has to be approved first so it won't show up right away right?

Oh! I thought I had made it public! My bad I'll change it right away =) Thanks!

Oh, I see now. It's because the video is unlisted. The video has to be public for this site to be able to pull the required information from it. A person can view an unlisted video when they have the link, but the code can't unless I made people connect their YouTube accounts to this site, which would be annoying.

Actually, if you had JS completely disabled you wouldn't even be able to get to the save screen, so that's not it.

That sounds like JavaScript might be disabled in your browser or you have something blocking the scripts on this site. What's the link to your video?
