is there a way to make perler beads w/out an iron ? @__@

i got some perler beads when i w/ my grandma but i cant make them anywhere else other than her house and I go there once a week I rlly want makes some perler patterns

@netherpi: flat irom melts really fast and is hard to control I don't recommend for any projects

i've seen this thing hat's liker perlers but you spray the beads with some sort of glue (i forgot what they were called)

i just get this small pan i have and put it on a low-medium heat and let it heat on the biggest burner i have on my stove, wait a few mins for it to heat then use that as you would an iron, just make sure to wear oven mitts bc it gets very hot

you can use an oven, but there isnt much control--or ya can use lots of tape!!! you can also use them as spacers for singles and ive seen a cool ladder cuff made entirely out of perlers on r/beadsprites. a flattening iron could work for very small crafts but idk if its that good of an idea.
