Why does the site stop me from posting threads/comments sometimes?

I've been experiencing this weird problem lately where the site just... Dosen't let me post anything? When I post a thread it says there was an error but dosen't give a reason and when I post a comment it just... Dosen't show up- Normally I just wait it out and like 30 minutes later I can post again but now it's started doing it for hours- What's wrong? :0 PLEASE HELP, CRUMPET-SAMA-

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts
