how. there is no good 90s grunge representation ever its all like "fairy grunge" and e-girl shit like thats not grunge kinda annoying but like wtf do i do. i just want to encapsulate 90s grunge completley

i mean i don’t dress grunge, but looking at grunge music from the 90s and the way the musicians dressed could be helpful?? sorry i’m not super good with this lol

literally all grunge is is just flannels, ripped blue jeans, uld scratchy band tees, converse and messy hair. that's basically it. with a main color palette of like earthy tones and tans and stuff like that, it's pretty easy ! you can usually find stuff at like thrift stores i would think.

look at the dressing styles of famous grunge icons like kurt cobain, chris cornell, eddie vedder, and other huge people. if you're lucky, you can find stuff at thrift stores !!!

look at documentaries such as Hype! if you wanna get more into grunge attire (and learn along the way!), photography from the 90s will certainly help, such as typing in “pearl jam 90s”. a lot of big flannels, ripped clothing, tube socks, boots upon boots, and accessories such as necklaces or rings. for colors: greens, blues, browns, and blacks are common, but grunge fashion is kinda just. oh i shall wear this stupid shirt with these jeans and walk out of the house with a rats nest for hair lmao. hopefully this helps!

nah but seriously, if u need grunge clothes go to thrift stores and antique shops

if you need grunge inspo imagine ¨but would bender from the breakfast club wear this?¨ of course your style is your own but dont look at pinterest for any inspo its not helpful at all

i recommend watching a bunch of shows that came out in the 90s and paying attention to the way they dress.

grunge everyday wear is always ripped jeans, old boots, and oversized flannel, and some old band tshirt

but you dont have to take any of this advice its ur style not mine. hope this helped lmao
