personally I like the song. s: how is it "breaking plur" to do a little dance to the music you love. people like all kinds of music. people like all kinds of dances. sometimes I "skank" to hardstyle (it works in a weird way) does that mean I'm ruining ska? not really! I'm just goofin around lol ^_^ I hardly know how to dance so I just do whatever and let the music take over. LET THE PEOPLES SHUFFLE I SAY!

the LMFAO shuffle and the hardstyle shuffle are very different. The LMFAO is more loosey-goosey, floppy movements, while the hardstyle shuffle is more tight and 'robotic' almost. The shuffles aren't the same, in my opinion, even though they've got the same name. But it bugs me when people say omg I can shuffle! and then they just do the slow party rock shuffle. It's not 'real' shuffling, even though it copies some of the movements.

From what I've seen, nobody besides ravers shuffle, even if that song comes on at a school dance or at the mall or wherever. So shuffling is really not mainstream. They didn't even label it as a dance in Ridiculousness on MTV. So personally, I'm not concerned. The Party Rock Anthem hasn't affected the rave scene whatsoever where I live. We ever remix it into better versions here. Personally, I like LMFAO. I even like that song. It's catchy and stupid and I shuffle to it. I knew about them before they were popular. Moreover, I new about the PRA song WAYYYYYYYYY before it hit the radio only because the music video, I think, is great. That song was out about 6-8 months(as well as the video) before it even touched the radio. So yeah. LMFAO didn't ruin shuffling. Because no one really can shuffle unless they practice over and over. And the only people who do that are ravers or aspiring ones.

i view it like this, sure they had fame and its a popular song. I knew nothing of plur and still don't know how to shuffle. I learned about it on my own. So most mainstream people might not know, plur or the meaning. Also this song its not breaking plur to me. They choose to go after the dollar, but how did they break plur. I don't see how they could have broken plur, Seeing as how they probably don't know about it or follow it personally. Even if they know about it they don't have to follow it, it's like religion, we all know something about other religions, but don't follow them all. Dancing no matter what goes through fad's, it pops up one moment and is really popular then it goes away. Even if LMFAO made the shuffle popular and 'ruined' it, that's not their fault. There song got really high on the charts, so you can't overly blame them fully. You've got to blame the unwashed massed, as well. also if your a shuffle raver, and you hate that song it's fine to dislike it extremely, but hate is another matter. The problem is not that they 'ruined it' is that more people are dancing that dance. Nothing belongs to just one group or clique, anymore everything is fair game by everyone. That would be like me getting mad at my boss for us being short staffed on a Sunday, she can't control call off's, just like LMFAO, can't control success.

I think anyone can dance however they want. just because something you love becomes more popular, doesnt mean you're mainstream now. just dont worry about what other people are doing. oh go on
