Genuine question for people who use they/them

so i use they them, but i am usually called he/him and i see people evrywhere saying "theydies and gentelthems" and like "themfriends" instead of boyfriend/girlfriend. Personally i find it a little weird because its usually used to refer to non binary/ gender non conforming people, and i kinda dont like the terms used because its stripping everything away from people who use the pronouns to just they.them. Idk if that makes sense but i jyst want ur opninon on it bc idk i just do

i use he/they/hell so i think i got some right to comment on this. those nicknames are just stupid. just use friend or partner or sibling or something more gender neutral. just use the actual thing instead of being incredibly cringy and stupid when trying to be creative. just use the orignal -Blitzo

My partner and I are both non-gender conforming but we still use boyfriend for each other but, we like to call each other "Love" as some sort of fancy type thing. But I usually call them my partner.

idc what pronouns someone uses on me so long as they aren't she/her, but if someone called me a "themfriend" or whatever I would drop them immedicately LMAO. If you like those titles than kudos to you but I'm literally 19 years old and don't need to be called shit like that wacko

I use they/them and I’m aroace but if I was dating someone I would prefer to be called their partner. If somebody likes being called theyfriend I don’t really care and I’m not gonna make fun of them or something
