Why do most people use multi-stich for patterns?

I'm pretty new to Kandi making and I only know peyote stick, but I have to learn multi-stitch now bc I've realized most people use multi-stitch pattern and not peyote

for me personally, i find peyote to be harder than multi stitch!

Multi is honestly easier for making cuffs. It is possible to make a panel with peyote and tie it together to be a multi cuff but it doesn't look as nice imo
