Flat peyote stitch, 6 columns across. I know of people who have used ladders, but they take longer, more string and they have a lot of gaps when they bend.

I'd also suggest doing a peyote stitch, or a ladder if you like the look and have A LOT of string. Just make a row to your desired width, and bulk up the sides. Or if you do a ladder, just make your desired height, and fill it up to your desired width!

you can also do a peyote stitch (best way in my opinion) or a ladder (more difficult)

If you want to do it multi you just have to make it like a normal cuff. I first set my first row and tied the sides to my buckle, which was simply off a book bag, so that was it was just like a giant cuff.
