LOL I know this is totally weird asking for ideas for my science fair project on a KANDI website but hey, why not?? I have one idea but my dad thinks it's totally lame and stupid. The project is due in approximately 2 months but i have to have a idea in by THURSDAY or I will not be in the science fair and i will FAIL science. The coolest thing I've found so far is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1mZtrk7ktE . I want something that involves like glow in the dark and stuff like that. But ANY ideas at ALLL are FABULOUS!! Thanks guys :3

What i did was I chose how different minerals and vitamins effect plant growth. and I took salt (sodium) benefiber (fiber) and my mom had some kind of pills for something and they contained only a single thing so I used that.

"white_rabbit_alice": well a social experiment might work. You would/could be studying a lot of different things as for what you would do i'd recruit some friends and study how people react to appearance. A prime example have 1 friend dress 1 way and use something to change their appearance and make them look one way and do a random survey with a photo of them and ask what the person thinks their interests/hobbies are. Then show another image where they look totally different and ask the same question, then the control group is them dressed normal. Its different enough to get attention and it reflects human nature to sort and judgeLol so I'm gonna do this but how do you turn it to a question big grin

true or you could if your really bored you could do a study on music and mood. and mrpewdiepie i love this idea because it shows us that judging people can be wrong but we do it anyway. Also another thing you could do is something called the attraction study, (note i saw this on the discovery channel) what you do is take pictures of people preferably male all about the same on apperance then you ask the other gender rate them on a scale of 1-10. however the first time you just show them a picture. then you show the same women the same images but each one now has a job and annual income and record the results. See how quickly they change. the idea way to do this is to pick out the hottest ones according to the girls and give them the worst paying jobs. Science of Sex Appeal is where this study came from so look it up it also has other ideas

v Ooooh someone in my sociology class did something like that. She would dress up as different stereotypes (i.e jocks, geeks, goth, cheerleaders, stoners, etc.) and just stand around with groups of those people listening to her iPod. She of course told the other students around her--just not the school staff. (Besides the principal.) Some hall monitors would tell her to put her music away, some didn't care, some even took it away. But with glow in the dark, I'm learning about crystals in my science class and maybe you can do some research on crystals that glow--I don't remember what kind, but I think it's transparent? and you can come up with an experiment on that. Ohohoh neon light spectrums could be really cool. If you google "neon light spectrum experiment" I would think you could find some things- Wow i'm nerdy o-o
