And It depends on the charm, this one came in a bracelet making kit & had a loop at the top, tho other times I hot glue a bead onto the back of the charm (not super stable) or I do my best to add a hook myself using techniques I do to make earrings to add an eye hook (A lot of those methods use a lighter- be careful-)
