I use hot glue, but I make sure to file a little bit of texture into the smooth clips (Like the ones in the photo that don't have glitter on them) so that they're far less likely to peel off. Works really well. I'm too cheap to buy gorilla glue but I'd probably recommend that to anyone else who wants to make these.
