Masking tape method Problems

Description	Hey so I made this design of Damascus apparel's "logo". I used the masking tape method for this pattern and many others. However when I try to take the tape off it just sticks completely to the back!! This has been happening allot recently! If anyone knows how to fix this please help!

Try using wax paper instead because masking tape is sticky and gets worse when melted to plastic
