If you want the old school design you simply start with a pair of mini cuffs just a few rows high, three or four rows seems to work fine, about 24 to 26 bead base, whatever colors you prefer to use, connect the two to create the bridge of the nose with two or three beads or a nice shaped bead if you prefer, I use stars a lot, then make a band large enough to fit the goggles securely to your head, single strands or double style straps seem to be the most common.
