Description So my mom decided to enter my kandi cuff into the fair without telling me. I was actually searching in my house for 2 days trying to find it, then she took me to the fair and showed me. On the back of the card I got a note saying that it was good and that i should enter something in the fair next year. The thing is, i know that selling kandi is frowned upon in the kandi community, but is putting is in competition under the 'bead work' category also frowned upon?

I have entered stuff in the county fair that was kandi that I entered under "handiwork" and "other medium" because bead work is judged a different way. But kandi is a really cool different style that really is a cool thing for people to see. Judges love to see something new and the patrons of the fair are always looking for something cool unlike the usual quilts and paintings that everyone does.

looks great i dont think there is anything wrong with submitting your bead creations into an art fair. Its actually a good idea!
