Wow, that would freak me out. I would probably never do perlers again if this happened to me because I would be afraid of everything doing that.

damn you walmart!! wahhhhhhh!! it sucks sad I dont know anywhere else to get them either besides walmart. Hey at least yours didnt stick to the board, I thought i'd be a genius and get the beads to cool quicker by putting it in the freezer and next thing I know the board is all weird and the perler mushroom I was trying to make wouldn't come off >_< crying

You can get them at Michaels and Joann. I saw a few different ones the last time I went there.

Thats Gayy!! walmart is cheap @ss! the thing about micheals is that you can connect them which is way better plus they dont get ruin, im sorry your money went down the drain broken heart also there perler beads in walmart only can fit in there own pegboard

same thing happened to me. I let my brother make a pokeball on my round pegboard, and thebeads wouldnt melt. we turned the heat up on the iron a tiny tiny bit, and BAM! now my brother's out a pokeball (cuz it fused to the board) and im mad cuz the pegboards were a gift

I know it's been months since you posted this, but to avoid having this happen in the future, google the masking tape method if you haven't already heard about it! Sorry about your board!
