My boyfriend is a Wiccan and refers to them as a pentacle or pentagram. I'm not familiar with the term(s), I'm just going by what he says.

Liliarayne you're actually kind of wrong. According to my third-degree Wiccan priest, it IS a pentacle, not a pentagram; but only because the five points are within a circle. The point can be either up or down as to whether they are inverted or not.
