I've actually seen someone people say the Q means q***r, but at the university I went to it meant questioning. (we had an LGBTQA organization on campus).

Ally isn't a sexual orientation or anything. It's just the word ally, like allies & allied. Have you really not heard that word before? In this context it probably means that you're united with them. even if you yourself are straight.

SilverShadow, do you know for sure that's the "official" meaning of the acronym? Because many different versions of it are used. I have actually seen the questioning/allied one more often, and Wikipedia says that the Q can either mean Q***r OR Questioning. That goes along with what I've seen. I think the last letter definitely makes more sense as Asexual. I just haven't seen it used that way >.< Either way, it doesn't affect the pattern, luckily happy
