jonah, you dont go through 3 beads, but on the 3rd row you start from the 2nd bead along in the pattern. so it would be purple, white, white, white, white for your first 5 beads. then continue on and add the first purple bead you skipped onto the end. click the how to read kandi patterns link below the pattern for a full explanation
