Carla, this is where you get to use MATH!

lol. A normal pony bead is about 6mm wide. 11 inches = 279.4mm. 279.4mm / 6mm = 46.57 beads, but you can't round to 47 because that's odd, so you'd need to make it 48 beads around. That means you should add 16 vertical purple columns to this pattern. You don't need to add any horizontal rows to this pattern unless you also want it to be taller.
