just a thought

i was wondering maybe just maybe could we have a numbering system when not approving patterns so your pattern can get assigned a number as to why it was not approved because some times its hard when you create something so epic in your mind to get it shot down and not know how you can fix it

syco i see some of your points but posting a photo and having people get the pattern from there is not always the best to get it all in you need several photos descriptions and one thing i will say i can make kandi for hours or minutes it all depends on how i feel and if there is not a pattern for what i want i'll make one but then its hard for me do it because i have to either save it to my computer with the numbers or stay in the designer screen which is annoying to an extent and sometimes if there is no pattern and you make one it can take forever to be approved and sometimes you cant save a pattern on or print it from certain computers because personally i cant do it without the numbers because then i can kind of see/track my progress and feel accomplished when i have to stop but doing it from a picture is harder then just having a pattern so its a challenge but when they only post like the front of it and not the back or poor picture quality how can i make it

I wouldnt be too concerned about it, and I wouldnt put too much into whether or not a pattern gets posted or not, As long as you enjoyed it, and were able to make the pattern yourself, then I dont feel like it should be that big of a deal. But if you feel it is you could always join a kandi making group on facebook and post the pattern there

i see that now but when my question was aproved then the pattern took like another day/ day and a half to be approved its a bit odd

Btw I did actually approve that James Bond pattern. That's another thing: as it says on the approval status page, it's not uncommon for us to approve patterns that were previously marked as not accepted happy

I agree with SycoSquirl. Also, if you post a photo of a completed pattern that wasn't accepted and someone comments on it asking for the pattern, I will normally go back and find/approve it.

I dont think it should really matter if your pattern gets added or rejected honestly. As long as you enjoy the pattern, you can make it yourself and share it that way. Putting it online doesnt really change much. Plus a way around it is to make the project then post a picture and if others like it they can figure it out based on your picture. easier on everyone that way

crumpet i see your point but make a list and have others from the site add to it then number it and just slap a number on it then let them find the reason ex pattern not accepted reason 6 then we could scroll through the reasons till you see reason six and reason six could be to many of this pattern

I have considered this in the past but I decided that it wouldn't work because there are too many possible reasons for why a pattern isn't accepted. Each reason would have to be typed in by hand, but we get too many patterns to do that. It's just not practical.

I would love that
