Wearing kandi

TheWindexKid 8/12/2012 07:14 pm 2998

I want to wear my kandi more often, only thing is I can't wear them at work and I don't know how my friends will react. I know some will think it's awesome and cool, but my older friends (age wise) will be like "what are you 5?" Now, I'm really shy to begin with and I tend to get really upset when people chastise me. I also Have a suuuper supportive boyfriend who will love whatever I do or wear. I just don't know if I can wear it, also I go back to college in January so I feel very childish if I wear it on campus....HELP!! What should I do? How can I beat these feelings?

Well I when i started wearing kandi it was just small singles and such, people loved it! So I would say just start off small. A single or two, maybe a cuff or a necklace. If you feel comfortable with that wear more! Hope this helps! happy

I don't get why people would be mean about the peeps who wear kandi. I mean kandi is so colorful and cute! ;A; It shouldn't be a problem at all! I don't wear my jewelry all the way up my arms very often (I get so picky with which ones I want to wear so I usually just give up with wearing alot of jewelry. =wtalk to the hand; ) but I'll always wear like 4 or 5 pieces of jewelry on each wrist, and no one's been mean to me about it yet. But if you wear only a little or alot of kandi, it's totally cool! big grin

People stare at me when i wear Kandi all the time. Expecially, since i'm in high school, i get called a preeschooler and a baby all the time, but it doesn't matter. I like my Kandi and thats all that matters. My friends like it, i suppose... I've meade a few singles for them, and little kids LOVE LOVE LOVE it! big grin It's all worth it in the end, trust me.

I wear my kandi all the time. It doesn't matter what they think because YOU made it and YOU think its awesome.

I wear my kandi to college and everyone asks me how I did it, they're always so intrigued by it. As far as my friends go, they think what I do is awesome. Kandi in an art, it doesn't make you immature.

honestly what people would say. So, soon enough, PEOPLE WILL BE FRIGGIN ASKING YOU FOR KANDI! Don't worry, and message me if you need anything else. I'm basically a self-confidence vending machine, and a diary, to all of my friends, so lol hmu if you need to talk. About anything.

Do ittt! When I started wearing kandi, i noticed all the looks from strangers and old people that were looking at me line *oh, there's a teenage thug.* And i was just like, "Hi! I'm Lexi, Nice To Meet You!" and was all happy and nice, and sometimes they would ignore me, sometimes they would be nice back, sometimes they would say "Wow, that's alot of bracelets!" and i would just say, "Yep! I like them. It's my personality." and they would accept it! POUF! And if your friends don't accept it, say "Haven't you ever heard of self-expression, or individuality? Alrighty then. I like it. Please, stop bothering me about it?" After a week or two of me doing the above ^^, people would generally stop asking about the quantity of bracelets, and instead they started saying stuff like "Did you make all of your bracelets? Wow, they're cool can i see them?" "Did you actually make your hat? That's amazing! You should sell them! *Not talking about the sell/don't sell kandi situation here, but that's
