You should start off with a simple multi stitch which is used to make cuffs/rings. CellularMango has AMAZING tutorials on YouTube :3 She helped me out with all my kandi and I still use her videos when I am stuck

Singles is where I started. Then I went to doubles, phatties and then things like stars and pacman ghosts. Then, cuffs.

i am new to kandi and i started with singles and then went to picture cuffs, because i thought they looked awesome happy they are actually really easy and the tuturials on this site are super easy to follow! really, i think you can start with whatever interests you and then go from there... good luck! big grin

Haha by reading the comments here i guess i strayed from the norm tongue I started with a couple singles, quickly moved to pattern cuffs then straight to a bikini. After that I started peyotes, then 3D's now I am making larger projects. Really it is just doing what you feel comfortable with my friend who started the same time as me is only making singles, pattern cuffs, and peyotes. Just do what you are comfortable with youtube tutorials are sviors! winking

Always start off from singles then you can branch off into doubles, phatties, etc. Make sure you have something down before you start on a brand new project you never did. And if you watch tutorials make sure you listen to all the steps and thorough look at each step and don't quickly watch the vid and wing it/come up from new ways to make things. Then you can put all your knowledge together to make things that are one of a kind and yours winking
