I'm just curious, why are some of you guys against selling kandi or someone else selling theirs?

sonnyfan14, it's because before I had that link section, I got tons of emails from people wanting to buy cuffs from me personally, and I don't sell kandi so I was constantly trying to refer them to people who sold. I still get a few emails but they have mostly stopped. There are always going to be people who want cuffs but can't make them, and people who have no problem with selling cuffs. That link section is for those people.

People who are really 100% against other kandi kids/ ravers selling their kandi have just forgotten the meaning of P.L.U.R. It's Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect for a reason if your against it just keep quiet maybe just state your opinion on it but don't all of a sudden thrash people about it that is showing you don't care about the Respect portion of P.L.U.R. Take me for example I lost my job, can't find a new one because no one is hiring around where I live, I have to support myself, and I'm about to lose my home so yes I am selling some of my kandi to try and get enough money to stay where I am instead of living on the streets. No I'm not looking fro pity I'm just sharing how things are starting to change for the worse. I don't believe it's un-P.L.U.R to sell as long as you still make kandi you want to trade at raves or to the rare kandi kid you run into on the street. If anyone disagrees with me ok that's your opinion and this is mine I wont call you a hypocrite just because you sell kandi. To be honest it's their kandi they made it they can do what they want with it. Think about what I said and stay P.L.U.R or relearn the meaning of P.L.U.R.

and to those who say you dont sell freindship; well giving someone beads doesnt make them a friend lol. ppl have forgotten that kandi isnt frienship, just a sign of it. trading with ppl is a way of breaking the ice, they arent automatically your friend for life cause you gave them kandi lol

its used to be taboo and acceptable in a respectful mannor. ppl who didnt approve would say so and not be nazi's about it. i personally hold what i was taught 14yrs ago to heart, dont sell tradables; make sure its unique and represents u. if ppl dont like selling i can respect em for that, but anyone who takes it to far needs to step back and realize what a hypocrite they are being lol. as i always say, do what makes you happy

I personally frown upon it too. Kandi is more of a friendship thing. You're supposed to TRADE it, and make bonds with people.

I personally think that if you want to sell something really big like a huge epic or a backpack thats fine but I don't think selling tradables like singles is right. its like a couple of years ago when everyone was making the friendship bracelets out of string, they had them in almost every store around america but i had more meaning if you made it

Kandi is something you trade with friends. If you sell it it's like "Hey wanna buy my friendship?" I honestly don't like the idea of someone selling their kandi but I'm not going to call you out on it and call you a poser or whatever. But some pple WILL give you a hard time so you just have to be careful :/

Me, I don't mind. I only sell it for supplies, because I don't have a steady source of income at the moment. I trade and give kandi to my friends all the time. People who I don't know in other states and etc that want "beaded creations" as they say, because they don't know how to make it or just don't want to take the time to make it, is a tad different than my close friends here.

Because your supposed to make it your self, Because the whole point of it, is like sharing a special bond, with other ravers and making your own type of kandi, Because its unique. Kandi should only be traded, NOT bought. Just saying. :\
