uploading an image to convert to pixels

how do you use the pattern maker to upload a photo to make a pattern? when I try the circle just turns and turns and turns..... nothing happens.scared

@kandikid808 is this GIMP an app for the pc or mobile device?

i have the same problem i used a program called bead tool4 and it worked the only problem was i couldn't save cuz i was usind a trial version so i used

a program called snipping tool whitch comes with windows computers to get a pictuer of the pattern rainbowsmile

@VEE49: There is a app called GIMP on the play store its made to work simmutaniously with your computer its hard to get used to but it is great for perler beading

if you keep getting that turning wheel, then the image you chose was likely encoded so that it couldn't be used on sites like this. Try looking for the same image and find it on another site url- that should help, but it's not always guaranteed. Sometimes there's only one copy of an image and it just becomes a hassle to find it elsewhere.
