Mini perler beads?

I realized that Perler beads aren't really good for small trinkets and keychains. Is there a smaller kind/brand?

There's a 2.6mm mini size... I haven't ever tried them since my local craft stores don't stock them but I'm thinking about ordering some because I want to make some little earring and necklace sized perler pieces :3

I read that Hama manufactures 2.5mm beads, branded as Mini Beads. Though I read that they aren't as popular as average-size beads.

Michael's is putting them out after Christmas according to the people working there today. Looking forward to more details in my works.

Perler are due to release mini beads next year around April.
Hama currently do mini beads as do artkal fuse beads
Amazon or ebay you'll find them.

i get mine on amazon but remember to also by the mini board too. and when you fuze them make sure its on very low heat and only takes a few seconds or you will melt your board like i did.

@Laurel: could you post a size comparison picture? like a penny, the normal bead, and the mini bead?
when you recieve them i mean
also let us know how the quality is
