Different Strings For Different Kandis

I have been using fishing line for Surgical Masks and that has been working great for me, but I work on the Sub Zero style for some reason the top nose part doesn't seem to want to come together and I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. On one that I was working on I just added more beads and got it to work for me but I want to know what everyone uses to make the Sub Zero masks and what strings for the bracelets.

well, for singles I use a variety of strings.

I commonly use bead n' stretch or the clear "cousin" elastic, or even the dollar tree string for singles.

I've even used the dollar tree string for necklaces and even a 3-D.

For peyotes, I use fishing line. 15 pound works best because 20 pound and 25 pound are WAY too sturdy and it makes the beads all wonky and sometimes it wont even tie. But, you have to be careful with 15 pound because I have cut the creases of my fingers by pulling too hard.

@Laurel: Fishing line seems to only work for me on the surgical designs, but HATE me for the sub zero. What thickness in stretch magic do you use? I was thinking of buying some of this stuff: http://www.ssww.com/item/white-elastic-cord-medium... and see how it works for the sub zero and the cuffs.

I never use fishing line, because fishing line just hates me.

For peyotes, I usually use stretch magic, or anything like that, and for everything else, I use fabric covered elastic. I have alot of fabric covered elastic.
