I don't know about the sweatshop thing, but the quality definitely went down. There was a high number of defective beads in my bags the last time I ordered from them. I definitely won't be ordering from them again.

I would like to hear what other people have to say about this because in the past I have purchased and promoted S&S's beads and string. I am curious as to whether or not the quality of their string has been lowered too. If it has,I might not recommend it anymore.
