Printing designs

Why can't I print my designs out? The only thing that prints out is a grey box.

i usually either hit save image and print the picture, or i take a screenshot and print that out from ms paint.

Literally only a grey box prints out? No pattern, no title, no bead counts? I'm aware there are sometimes problems with the bead count colors printing, because printers see them as "background colors," and if that's the case you have to change your printer settings to print background colors. I can't think of any reason that nothing but a grey box would print though.

What happens if you try to print a PDF of a published pattern, for example this one: http://kandipatterns.com/pattern/pdf/id/19387

If you're able to print that pattern out okay, maybe I can add PDF versions for your own designs so you can print them out that way.
