am I the only one that's like super ocd about different sized beads?

I buy my beads from a variety of stores and the ones I get from micheal's are way bigger than the ones I get from wal-mart and joann's. It bothers me to no end and my friends don't understand why! Maybe I'm just a super perfectionist? Idk, but I want to know if other people do this too!

I haven't really noticed a size difference before, but maybe it's because I mix clear beads with solid coloured beads so I can't tell if it's bigger or just the colour popping out in comparison...

OMG you dont know how much this speaks to me... I literally sit for hours sorting out different bead shapes and sizes and colours and use them according to what im making.

I made a piece once with beads I got from Michael's and Walmart, and it looks so odd. It's narrower in the middle because that's where all of my Walmart beads are. It basically looks like this: ) (

Trust me. It bothers me to no end, as well!

You're not the only one at all!! The size def matters, especially if you're making like a mask or cuff, screws up the look of the pattern! That's why if I buy beads in any store, I just stick to Michael's, but I usually just get them online at one online store (PonyBeadStore.com) which are the same size as the Michael's ones You are def not alone!! <3 <3 <3

Ungodly OCD about bead sizes and colors (like how some bags will be like half a shade lighter or darker and if i can tell it really really irks me0. I'm in a bind at the moment because well the closest crafting store is Hobby Lobby (and my morals and values refuse to let me shop there prior to them opening a month or so ago nearest store was over 13 miles away) and my place of work (walmart) has been sold out of the color i need for weeks so i had the department manager order me 9 bags over 2 weeks ago and still have yet to come in.

Try only using one brand, and no you're not alone. Booth me and about 4 of my cousions arew that way.

i'm the same way but if i'm making something halfway through and i have no more of that same color and size left i have to resort to using the different sized ones of the same color. it is annoying

nope. I have like 76 different boxes bc of all the different sized beads. Even if they are the same colour, if the are a different size they gotta go somewhere eles
