Buy in Bulk or in bits?

Do you guys prefer to buy in bulk? Or go to the store for beads that you need? For example, My friend likes to buy beads when she desperately needs ever color. But I like to buy one bag at a time for whatever pile is running low. JW...

Perlers I always buy in bulk from the perler website. spend 60 bucks get free shipping. Sometimes they have extra good deals too. But when you buy in bulk there the price drops a little on 1,000 count bead bags. from $2 something to $1 something. That's worth it to me since I haaaaaaate running out mid project. Pony beads tho I'm still finding the best places to go... My Walmart is ALWAYS picked over sad lol

It kinda depends. Usually I buy in bulk. After the first gladiator skirt I started buying beads in packs of 3,000. Letters I buy as individual letters when I start running low and every now and then I get a grab bag but I don't really like doing that. Though it should also be said that at any given point I have enough beads to last most people a few lifetimes. When I'm running low on a color I use regularly then I'm down to somewhere between 1000 and 500.

I like to just buy in bulk. I end up using all of my colors more than I think I do. When I do projects, I like to have all of my colors at hand. Sometimes I switch up colors for a pattern if I see it necessary.

It really all depends on what you're making. Like if I'm making a cuff or something then I'll get a big tub or container of beads but if I'm making a panel or something big like that then i get the small bags of the assorted colors I need for that project.
