I don't hear people talk about it as often as therians but it's basically just feeling very connectted to something. i'm dragonhearted, for me that means that i heavily identify WITH dragons, whereas somebody who's otherkin / therian would say that they identify AS their kin. my understanding is that therian is exclusively used for real creatures that either have existed or do exist on earth. so dinosaurs, canines, insects, literally any real creature living or extinct. whereas otherkin is for mythical / fictional creatures, characters, ect. also fictionkin is specifically used for people who kin a fictional character(s) or species! (couldn't be me /s)
also you don't have to experience shifts to be a therian. some people get gatekeepy abt it but only you know how you really feel and identify. if you want info on therians i'd check out the r/therian subreddit if you haven't already.

I don't rly think theirs many adults (specifically on her) on this website, but I do see a lot of 18+ therians on TikTok, and mostly on Reddit, I recommend looking there, because this place is motly 12-18 year olds.
