when I first decided to start making kandi, I think I spent a bit over $50. I got a box of beads and a few packs of elastic string and some other things that i don't remember lol

I made a Vest that may be a great pattern for you to make a corset with. It holds up pretty good. I use Polyester string for my projects and i ran 3 strands through a carpet need and it holds up great. I suggest a practice piece first so you can figure out how to turn it and make it work. I wear my vest to Ren Fairs.

This is fantastic - going to attempt it with mosaic tiles for my son's 21st!! Would it work with square tiles as opposed to the rectangles as shown in the pattern??

Oh god, creative but please, if you're going to appropriate another culture at least dont disrespect it like this and please get it right. It's not called a "hindu hand" it's called hamsa and has nothing to do with hinduism but is a huge symbol in islam and judaism. Good god, i'm not even religious but im tired of you white people ruining everything...

My suggestion would to make peyote stitch panels. Follow a normal cloth corset pattern for the sizing and shape of the panels, then stitch the panels together like you would for a bag. Best of luck to ya, and please post pictures because I would love to see this made.
